Our Story
Dan’s dream of starting a Hot Dog cart started in the summer of 77. His family had many BBQs, and his favorite were the hot dogs because it was the fastest thing to cook but it was always the last. That year Dan asked his Grandpop if they can put them on the grill because he put everything else on the grill. His Grandpop would not let him just put it on the grill it needed to be in a special spice mix before they went on the grill. That day Dan had the best hot dog of his life. Eating raw hot dogs with a palm full of mustard wasn’t going to cut it after that hot dog. Dan cannot remember but he thinks that was the last BBQ with his Grandpop grilling. He begged everyone else to cook the hot dogs that way and they wouldn’t do it, they would just put them on the grill, and it was never the same.
When Dan was old enough to cook for himself, he told himself that that he was going to replicate that recipe the best he could because he knew that he wanted to serve hot dogs and they better be good.
